01 Formulating

We mix together liquid latex and raw materials to create the perfect balance. A mixture that is proven superior in the industry.

02 Molding

We transfer the mixture to the pressroom where it is aerated and injected into an aluminum pincore mold. This is the first step in creating a unique cell structure only found in Talalay latex.

03 Dispersing

The mold is sealed, and a vacuum is used to pull and fill the mold with liquid latex. This vacuum process is only found in Talalay latex and is what makes our material superior. The process allows for full control of Talalay’s superior consistency and firmness offerings.

04 Freezing

The formula is flash frozen at a temperature of -22 degrees Fahrenheit - Unique to the Talalay process. It prevents particles from settling and locks in Talalay's unique cell structure.

05 Gelling

The latex is heated to 220 degrees Fahrenheit. This physically changes the product from a liquid to a solid state.

06 Purifying

Every Talalay core and pillow undergoes a five-stage wash process, ensuring a clean and healthy product. The process is engineered to waste as little water as possible. The water is cleaned after use and recycled.

07 Vulcanization

This process removes any residual moisture and completes the curing process, leaving you with a latex product that is breathable, consistent and offers great support.

08 Testing

Once dry, every product undergoes a nine-point firmness consistency test and infrared technology scan. Talalay Global is widely known for maintaining the strictest tolerances in the industry.
